MyWork Australia has an entry-level position available for a talented junior PHP developer.

MyWork Australia (www.mywork.com.au) is a website development business, run from a newly refurbished office in Cornubia, QLD (south of Brisbane). Due to the recent high demand for our services, we are actively seeking a PHP developer to join our team.

This is the ideal position for a junior PHP developer, fresh out of high-school, university or TAFE, who is looking to get a start in the industry at an exciting and quickly expanding company.
No previous commercial experience is required, however you must have an advanced understanding of PHP. The ideal candidate would be a “code-junkie” who has worked on advanced PHP projects in the past (for example personal projects) and would like to begin earning a living from their skills.

ROLE
- Design, develop and code websites for clients including basic websites through to advanced ecommerce shopping carts and custom coded projects
- Participate in project discussion with the team to determine the best development method and pipeline
- Liaise with clients to ensure their website design requirements are met

REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced PHP skills
- High level of understanding of:
o MySQL Databases
o HTML
o Javascipt
o CSS
- Ability to work in team environment
- Ability to meet defined deadlines

BENEFICIAL
- Photoshop skills
- Cpanel Experience
- Linux server management experience
- Large project experience

Salaries will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
