Hi All,

Just started investing some time into investigating/learning the Symfony framework.

Wondering if anybody has had any experience or feedback on Symfony and are there any opinions as to what sort of work prospects it might bring.

See the project here if you've never seen it before.

Looks interesting. The only problem is that these frameworks are only good for simplistic applications, when customers want new features added or existing features removed, it becomes a night mare.

I am developing an application with joomla, and just implementing multiple level nested tabs has been one of my worst nightmares.

Wish u well smile

Symfony's great.

Joomla and Symfony have nothing to do with each other. Joomla is made for simple application as you said. However, Symfony is a framework, not a CMS; it is made to create complex applications quickly and efficiently.

It's quite hard to start with but it will save you hours of work and improve your code. I haven't tried it, but you can check PHP Cake as well.
