Just a few random notes:
- This document is over 10 years old. It pre-dates things like git and svn.
- That being said, i still think a lot of the theory is relevant.
- It's a HUGE document. A lot of it is really theoretical. Some of it is outdated.
- I think, if it's a subject that interests you, it's actually a really good resource. There's a lot of useful concepts in there for managing a codebase with many developers.
- FWIW, we use something that resembles Fig. S1b on page 50.
