merge with MySQL group
since many people write in PHP for MySQL this would save having 2 meetings on very often similar topics with the same people

Since Coen Hyde is presenting on a MongoDB abstraction tool, maybe someone else would want to demonstrate phpMoAdmin, the PHP GUI tool for MongoDB administration?

Speed optimisation and compilers
Not sure if this has been discussed before or not as I am a new member to the group.

Perhaps someone would like to do a presentation about how to make any PHP script to run faster and to be able to minimise resources on the server(s).

I ... Read more would like to hear someone doing a talk about the use of code optimisers like opcode cache, APC, eAccelerator, etc and also compiling the code to another language like Facebook does with HPHPi and HipHop.

Is this too ambitious?
