Peter van Dijk will discuss how his company uses PHP and MySQL, and which choices they've made in the real world. That's always interesting, because, for instance, the best practice "use InnoDB storage engine" must sometimes come second to handling very specific needs. Such insights put nuance into the rules of thumb most of us already know about.
